Paul Pogba is suspended for Manchester United's Premier League opener at Bournemouth this weekend.
The Frenchman completed his £90million switch to Old Trafford earlier this week but will be unavailable for the first game of the campaign.
Pogba was listed on the FA's website as one of the players 'currently under suspension' ahead of the first weekend of the new season.
And in response to a query about the ban, the FA tweeted: "He was booked twice in last season's Coppa Italia, which results in a one-game ban. This has been transferred to England."
Pogba picked up bookings against Inter Milan in March and against AC Milan in May in the Italian domestic cup competition resulting in the suspension.
He became the most expensive player in football history when his return to the Theatre of Dreams was made official in the early hours on Tuesday morning.

The midfielder was in line to make his debut on the south coast in Sunday's lunchtime kick-off following the transfer from Juventus, but it was unclear whether Jose Mourinho would thrust him into first-team action.
Pogba has not had the same pre-season as most of his teammates following his exploits with France at Euro 2016.
